GENERAL FUNCTION

The Director of Franchise Onboarding is responsible for strategy and program development for onboarding of new and existing franchisees to the Pearle Vision system. The role is responsible for content development and delivery to ensure participants understanding of Pearle Vision, optical and retail operations and long term success as Pearle Vision Licensed Owners.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develops/oversees a franchise onboarding strategy
  • Leads cross functional new franchisee support team and partners including marketing, franchise oeprations and Luxottica Centers of Excellence
  • Continously evaluates onboarding effectiveness through competitive assessment, benchmarking and program evolution
  • Identifies, quantifies and validates opportunities to improve new franchisee outcomes (content development,role evolution etc.)
  • Creates and seeks opportnities for collaboration with franchise operations team for business continuity and ongoing support of new franchisees
  • Supports development of annual franchise onboarding budget, and assesses outcomes to evaluate ROI and inform future planning

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 10+ in multi-unit retail management with franchise experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Talent for cross functional collaboration
  • Abilty to manage complex timelines and effectively negotiate deadlines and deliverables
  • Understanding of optical category – optical retail, manged vision care, optometric regulations
  • Ability to adapt to new challenges and maintain flexibility without compromising outcomes Travel up to 50%
