GENERAL FUNCTION

Lead all EyeCare Practice Growth Marketing, Industry, & Affiliated/Employed Doctor communication in order to improve the image of Luxottica & Luxottica Eye Care, create the environment to acquire, develop, & retain our OD’s, drive practice growth in the way of marketing programs & OEE CVR (online eye exam conversion), & support the OD in providing the highest quality patient experience overall. Partner with both the marketing functions within each of the optical brands but also with other key Centers of Excellence (COE) functions within EyeCare in order to drive initiatives on behalf of the optical brands.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Key owner of Luxottica EyeCare marketing & communication strategy as it relates to the value proposition & market messaging to the various industry & affiliated audiences
  • Key driver of OD engagement across the optical brands & primary owner of doctor communication channels including email & website for internal & external OD’s & OD students at
  • Lead strategic leadership in marketing programs to support practice growth. Remain proactive in defining, proposing & driving strategic & tactical ways to drive OEE CVR
  • Represent Luxottica’s interest in industry-level initiatives including TAYE (Think About Your Eyes), among vendor relationships including Contact Lens Manufacturers, & within the category at large in partnership with the OD Clinical Director
  • Own the internal dashboard, measurement & tracking against key Marketing & Communications objectives
  • Guide the Eye Care team leadership & individual project owners in making research-based decisions on research objectives & expectations
  • Key advisor to executive leadership on OD/student OD insights, best practices, & success criteria related to all pilot & run the business programs & engagement. Own the OD “program roadmap” for all test & learn, pilot, & build to scale initiatives across the optical brands
  • Identify patient needs & wants as it relates to the OD providing a quality eye care experience. Provide guidance on best practices & success criteria in order to test, pilot, & scale new programs against the patient experience across all optical brands
  • Represent the patient & OD perspectives in major decision-making processes
  • Act as a key player in defining overall OD communication strategy to help them grow their practice & RONA involvement in marketing programs to support the growth
  • Work closely with agency, internal & global partners
  • Coach & develop direct report(s)
  • Manage budget inclusive of all student & OD events/engagement budget & marketing budgets within each of the optical brand lines including forecasting & overall budget planning

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • 12+ years of experience in a related field
  • 5+ years marketing team leadership
  • Good oral & written communication skills
  • Ability to think strategically & creatively
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Strong problem solving & analytical skills
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills
  • Proven project management & multi-tasking skills
  • Strong understanding of consumer research & insights methodologies

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree
