GENERAL FUNCTION

This position is the primary contact and leads the ongoing development and maintenance of EyeMed’s Salesforce.com instance. Work extensively with a wide array of EyeMed departments, including Commercial Sales and Account Management, Strategic Reseller, Operations and Marketing. Prioritize requests from key stakeholders to ensure SF.com is maintained and enhanced in order to meet organizational needs.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serves as the primary contact for the SF.com team and leads the team in the ongoing development and maintenance of EyeMed’s SF.com instance.
  • Prioritizes systems releases to ensure organizational objectives are met and ensures the case queue is maintained in a timely manner and cases are fully resolved.
  • Maintain proper internal controls with respect to the ongoing development and enhancement of EyeMed’s Salesforce.com by rigorously following and enforcing SSAE16 policies and procedures. Ensures all requirements are documented per established standards.
  • Develop, maintain, monitor and report against department standards/results.
  • Support EyeMed internal customers in day-to-day CRM use while thinking strategically to provide an increasingly effective tool in the future through
  • Identify and recommend systems and process modifications necessary to effectively and efficiently support the needs of the organization
  • Maintains a detailed knowledge of the Salesforce CRM system/capabilities, and applies knowledge to improving service to the EyeMed organization
  • Analyzes and evaluates issue trends to ensure continuous improvement
  • Provide process documentation for newly created processes and functionality
  • Provide initial and ongoing training for impacted departments, including training procedures and minimum required training.
  • Support EyeMed projects and initiatives, taking full responsibility of assigned projects. Manage projects from requirements, to design, testing, deployment, and training.
  • Manage vendor relationships and hold the vendor accountable to meeting the project goals.
  • Responsible for maintaining the daily system processes built to support day to day operations. Ensure that the data extracts that feed business critical processes are running. Maintain the code and ensure that it is working as expected. This includes, but is not limited to Apex Classes, Triggers, Process Builders, and Flow.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent business experience required
  • 5+ years of experience in business operations
  • Prior experience working with salesforce.com or equivalent CRM tool
  • Advanced computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience in business operations
  • Current Salesforce.com Certified Administrator status
  • Advanced knowledge of EyeMed’s processes as they apply to salesforce.com
  • Prior experience managing and developing the EyeMed SF.com instance
  • Ability to develop plans that are realistic, thorough, and effective in meeting goals and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
