GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager of Assortment Execution drives product execution in store on key processes including: Pricing Management, Inventory Movement, Special Event Coordination, Catalog Maintenance, and Reporting. This key position within the organization also helps to identify and develop sustainable in-store logistic processes. Leads and coordinate cross functional activities with other team members within the organization to ensure product assortment, pricing, and inventory aligns to high level global plans.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

PRICING MANAGEMENT

  • Coordinate and Execute all price changes in stores in order to ensure alignment and accuracy between system and stores
  • Coordinate and Execute planned and unplanned markdowns in all stores while maintaining pricing information specific to outlet locations
  • Host Store Pricing Coordinator to ensure host stores have accurate pricing in their system consistent with our SGH systems and strategy

INVENTORY MANGEMENT

  • Responsible for execution of store recalls back to local distribution center along with store to store transfers as needed in order to optimize working capital.
  • Assist in analyzation of recall needs by location in order to support global planning efforts to maximize working capital results.
  • Drive continuous process improvement by identifying for opportunities in efficiencies, in-store logistics, and inventory management.
  • Process and Ensure completion of store openings and closings whether new stores, remodels, or permanent closures.
  • Special Project Coordinator to support specific inventory needs at store or brand specific events
  • Ensure accuracy of inventory through continuous in-store improvement initiatives along with maintaining strong working relationships with field leaders, inventory control team, asset protection, and DC team

RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT

  • Creates an efficient and productive communication process between global and local teams.
  • Develops solid working relationships with Store Planning, Store Operations, Product and Global partners to deliver all strategic initiatives.
  • Facilitate communication with Distribution Center on the behalf of SGH with 1st and 2nd level DC partners on inventory movements from returns, outbound, and inbound along with prioritization

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Purchasing, Marketing, or other technical and related degree
  • 5 years of experience, or more, in purchasing or related field
  • Working knowledge of Retail Planning, Buying and Merchandising principles
  • Strong leadership and relationship building skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, sense of urgency, and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient computer skills, Excel, merchandising and planning systems (DPM, RPAS, Planning Files, AFS1, and FMS1)
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, every changing environment
  • Strong analytical skills- able to extract conclusions from available data and recommend actions
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
