The Lead Business Systems Analyst oversees IT and technology solutions through collaboration with leaders to gather and prioritize business requirements for our warehouses and distribution centers. Creates detailed functional specifications, collaborates with development resources, provides quality assurance oversight and guides brand/business teams through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and solution implementation.



  • Supports Projects through development of testing plans, schedules and test execution/ issue resolution.
  • Directs the business requirements gathering process by responsibly collecting, analyzing, reviewing, documenting, and communicating business needs to ensure the proposed solutions meet business requirements.
  • Understands the Business strategic and tactical goals in order to focus functional team(s) on highest business impact by working through others to ensure tasks are adequately defined, planned and completed.
  • Collaborates with stakeholder teams to identify user requirements and recommend solution options.
  • Documents work, including change requests and functional specifications, and manages changes to documentation.
  • Facilitates meetings/task groups, tracks and influences task progress and tracks deliverables in order to effectively resolve business issues.
  • Learns and understands business area processes and operating models; translates business needs into new technologies/applications, and performs high-level troubleshooting.
  • Serves as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all phases of technology/application implementation; apprises management team of progress; keeps   management aware of issues, potential problems and mitigation plans.
  • Tests system changes/enhancements related to assigned processes to ensure changes satisfy business requirements with no negative impact.
  • Responds to brand/business inquiries related to systems, policies and procedures.
  • Directs the developement of and implements end user documentation including help document, instructions and release notes



  • BA/BS in Computer Science, Information Systems, Technology, Business or related field     
  • 7+ years Information Systems/Business-related experience within SAP and related interfaces in the modules of WM/IM/MM
  • Experience with collecting requirements from business and implementation details, implementing solutions, and providing technical support
  • Experience writing business requirements,  test plans , and SOP’s
  • Clear and practical understanding and experience integrating technical services which support applications and users in the organization
  • Knowledge of emerging technology and platforms, ecosystems, hardware and trends that are in line with business needs
  • Highly proficient and knowledgeable in MS Office applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint
