The Manager- Logistics Operations (Logistic Solutions) is responsible for warehouse solutions design and implementation in Luxottica’s North America Distribution Centers leveraging a customer-driven approach. The warehouse solutions support new business or business growth, productivity, capacity and slotting, service enhancements, ergonomics. Accordingly to the Business needs and the solutions to implement the Manager will handle flows, CapEx, OpEx, efficiencies, service level.

The Manager- Logistics Operations (Logistic Solutions) manages the process from design to implementation and collaborates with cross functional teams (inclusive of Distribution Operations, Business Intelligence, Distribution Planning, Finance, IT, Facilities, Transportation, external suppliers, etc) supporting Luxottica’s Retail, Wholesale and E-commerce business.



  • Designs Distribution Centers layouts evaluating the trade-off between service, space and cost
  • Develop business cases with alternatives and costs and lead presentations to key stakeholders using the analyzed data to quantify the benefit of the change
  • Manages projects implementation including budgets and ROI for each project
  • Develops project plans and manages cross funtional teams in the design and execution
  • Provides and presents updates to Sr.Leadership and main stakeholders
  • Identifies suppliers to support North America and manages supplier relationships
  • Contributes to the the North America network strategy developing proactive designs alternatives to accommodate business growth and consolidations
  • Follow up and support as PM all the projects go-live guaranting proper execution, installation, timing and cost effectiveness
  • Prepare and presents action plans, ideas to improve services (reducing claims, improving time to market) and to reduce costs



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain or industry equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in Logistics environments with a focus on optimizing processes
  • 3+ years in Project Management
  • Visionary/Strategic minded
  • Ability to challenge status quo and strive for continuous improvement
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage complex organization with different Pillars
  • Strives in a fast pace environment
  • Experience in design, optimization, re-engineering of processes
  • Projects/Program Management experience
  • Able to work in environment with international objectives and matrix relationships in a multinational environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project or equivalent & AutoCad



  • Master Degree in Business, Logistics or Engineering
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green Master or above (preferred)
  • PMP certification
  • E-Com and Omni Channel experience
  • Experience with SAP
