The Project Supervisor (Logistics Business Systems) enables 24 x 7 x 365 uninterrupted operations in Luxottica’s North America Distribution Centers by leveraging a customer-driven approach. The supervisor leads projects related to developing Business Systems Capabilities within the Logistics network. This position also provides production support for our SAP applications and automation systems, proposes improvements in the use of SAP and leads projects to successfully deliver on those ideas. In doing so, the supervisor collaborates cross functionally with various cross functional stakeholders within the Distribution Center.



  • Leads projects that result in developing new capabilities in the area of business systems to elevate the support for uninterrupted operations. e.g.
    • Develop KPI reporting enabling performance management
    • Create Master Data Management process
    • Participate in development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Serves as the liaison to business and IT by providing overall daily SAP AFS system support to the operations team.
  • Troubleshoots share point tickets, provides solutions, verifies results and communicates to operations to ensure minimal to zero impact to meet business requirements.
  • Builds deep understanding of the SAP solution in efforts to conducts root cause analysis and creates ideas to improve processes. Works with operational process owners to implement best practice processes, as well as continuously improves the processes in these functional areas.
  • Assists in testing as required 



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Logistics or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience in Logistics environments with a focus on optimizing processes
  • 2+ years of experience implementing and leading projects
  • Expert knowledge of Distribution Operations processes and Warehouse Management Systems capabilities
  • Experience in design, optimization, reengineering processes
  • Strives in a fast pace environment
  • Able to work in environment with international objectives and matrix relationships in a multinational environment



  • Master’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or Logistics
  • Lean/Six Sigma Green or Black Belt
  • Retail and Manufacturing industry knowledge
  • Knowledge of Distribution Center Automation
