GENERAL FUNCTION 

The Senior Analyst Forecasting, reporting to the Manager of Forecasting, will be responsible for designing and developing reporting solutions to support ongoing projects at the facility. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities and business acumen with exceptional competency in Logistics and Supply Chain management.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Creates KPIs, spreadsheets, and databases to support ongoing projects
  • Works with sales and local operations to communicate new orders and forecast goals to internal stakeholders – Operations and Logistics Corporate leaders
  • Assists Forecasting Manager in weekly planning and reporting
  • Develops effective planning and project management for process improvement
  • Enables effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
  • Supports cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of the existent program implementation.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • Bachelor’s degree in highly quantitative field (Computer Science, data science/analytics, statistics, engineering, etc.)
  • 3+ years of experience in an analytical field.
  • Ability to liaise and collaborate with internal partners to influence direction and roadmaps, despite competing priorities
  • Advanced ability to draw insights from data and clearly communicate them to the stakeholders and senior management as required.
  • Is self-driven and shows ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with limited data and resources.
  • Possess an ability and interest in working in a fast-paced, ambiguous and rapidly-changing environment.
  • Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge is a must.

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 

  • MBA or Master’s Degree
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in a business analyst, data analyst or statistical analysis role
  • Experience with SAP or other ERP systems
