To support our global business, Luxottica operates multiple manufacturing and logistics facilities across North America to support our retail stores and wholesale customers.

GENERAL FUNCTION

The Sr. Business Analyst provides fresh and disruptive thinking to the Luxottica wholesale business and macro environment. The Strategy team brings together teams across Luxottica’s various functions to help products, tools and teams execute optimally. Our team pushes the organization to scale at key points that refine our tools and infrastructure by executing efficiently, bringing solid business sense and sound judgment, and working effectively across organizational lines. This role includes components of strategy (e.g. analyzing and understanding new trends in the industry and business, building business plans), operations (implementing enterprise digital tool enhancements, connecting the operating lines between our functions), and communications. Our team partners with senior leadership to run important functions that cross-cut our existing organizations and deliver high impact projects.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Serve as the internal consulting team and business partners to the sales management team and department leaders, addressing business questions and issues.
  • Develops reporting for different channels and provides recommendations for sales strategy and summarizes/recaps business performance for executives and sales management.
  • Support project management efforts and act as lead PM for corporate enterprise digital tools, ensuring timelines are met and knowledge is shared across the team.
  • Support creative, out-of-the-box thinking to identify white space opportunities and formulate an approach to address the identified opportunity.
  • Enable and foster a culture of high organizational performance through internal and cross-group initiatives and leading cross-team projects to optimize organizational performance.
  • Develops marketplace analytics and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and grow Luxottica USA business.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Ability to complete complex analytical tasks with limited supervision and generate insights from large quantities of data sources.
  • Can effectively communicate, collaborate and influence stakeholders across all levels in an open and honest way that quickly builds trust and respect.
  • High attention to detail and focus on driving processes through successful execution.
  • Self-motivated, high energy individual that can easily function in high demand, performance-driven environment.
  • Awareness of emerging trends and competitive activity in the marketplace.
  • Adaptability in less-structured environment; ability to quickly figure out solutions to complex issues.
  • Persistent and resilient in the pursuit of objectives, can shift gears easily, is willing to take on new challenges and works to resolve issues
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, finance, any science or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role at the intersection of business/sales analytics and project management
