The Manager of Luxottica Learning & Development works closely with members of the team to project lead and design learning modules. They will also support the modification of global tools and content to meet the local retail/wholesale market needs. This role is the gate keeper, editor, modifier, and creator of content for the retail/wholesale local market.  They will be responsible for managing relationships between business partners and vendors to ensure deadlines and expectations are achieved.



  • Develop engaging learning modules for retail and wholesale including e-learnings, interactive PDFs and videos.
  • Assist team members with graphics, images, and other visual elements according to the objectives of the project.
  • Explore and evaluate new tools and programs to combine all training and digital assets into one universal platform.
  • Familiarity with the Learning Management System (LMS) processes including loading courses, assigning courses and understanding reporting.
  • Support by being the copywriter and editor for training content.
  • Communicate with team and cross-functional Subject Matter Experts to ensure content congruence among all curriculum tracks and alignment.
  • Support the management of project deadlines, deliverables, and external resources.
  • Demonstrated initiative in gathering feedback and data from partners, improving learning and development content and constantly moving learning content to the next level.
  • Responsible for monitoring retail/wholesale platforms and ensuring correct content is uploaded for the right audience.
  • Manage external wholesale LMS Luxottica University content process.
  • Develop in-person classroom content for retail and wholesale training needs.



  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Learning, Training, or Retail/Wholesale Leadership
  • Minimum 3-5 years of instructional design experience.
  • Basic Analytical skills
  • Proficient in learning content tools: Articulate Storyline/Rise and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Knowledge of Learning Management Systems
  • Proficient computer skills in Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Vyond
  • Knowledge of training industry best practices
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, both written and verbal and interpersonal skills



  • Optical knowledge
  • Retail/wholesale selling experience
