As an Internal Communications Manager at Luxottica, you will play an integral role in giving our people more visibility to our rich Company culture and business priorities, while developing and managing effective communication strategies and initiatives for the business with a focus on our Corporate Retail teams across North America.



  • Creatively develops and leads communication programs, campaigns and content strategy across multiple channels (Company intranet/online, video, print and events) to deliver integrated communications programs that articulate the Company's key messages, business priorities and growth initiatives, as well as influence a positive culture and engaged workforce.
  • Ensures to continuously update and meet deadlines in an audience-specific editorial calendar.
  • Exhibits flexibility and openness to support projects across all divisions and functions of the business on an as-needed basis.
  • Leads planning and implementation of Town Hall Meetings, internal employee engagement events and activities, including collection of feedback for continuous improvement strategies on topics such as employee engagement and culture-building.
  • Works with brand communications partners, business leaders/partners and HR partners to identify needs, objectives and strategies in order to create meaningful communications catered to that audience.
  • Develops messaging for topics including culture, storytelling, and other areas of strategic corporate significance as needed.
  • Coaches internal regional partners on implementation of communication standards and processes to deliver best-in-class internal communications that reflect Luxottica’s corporate branding.
  • Leads the development of an internal communications strategy for North America Retail while working closely with global partners to incorporate business objectives and initiatives tied to the local vision.
  • Ensure accuracy of Company distribution lists and work with HR partners in keeping these lists up-to-date.
  • Manages agency design and multi-media partners as content developer and/or project manager on specific projects.
  • Leads local intranet management including content planning and delivery, acting as editor (managing all writing, editing and posting) for the local business.
  • Frequent travel (40%) required to meet local Retail teams to support the flawless execution of company projects and events.



  • 5+ years of Internal Communications experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Communications or related discipline
  • Superior writing and editing skills, including knowledge of Associate Press style, Intranet Content Management Systems, Adobe Suite (preferred) and ability to write in a variety of styles/voices
  • Presentation creation and graphic design/media experience, including knowledge of printing process
  • Exceptional project management skills with proven ability to plan, develop and deliver content across a variety of channels
  • Remain flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment that demands high-quality results and flawless execution
