GENERAL FUNCTION

The role of the Retail Marketing Manager will be to make sure that the retail channel is fully engaged.  They will make sure that sales associates are well trained and enthusiastic about Costa, that Costa is integrated in retailers’ marketing communications, and that Costa has the right POS materials on the floor and under the counter. 

The Retail Marketing Manager will create an annual retail marketing plan that outlines programs for achieving the goals outlined above.  They will also put in place monitoring systems that will measure progress toward goals.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experticity Online Training (3point5.com)
  • Retail Workbook
  • B2B Website
  • Retail elements of CDM.com
  • Retail promotions – GWPs, sales contests, etc.
  • Co-op advertising programs
  • Retail channel activation for Costa consumer messages (email, Facebook, website, etc.)
  • Promotional POS material development
  • Product marketing support
  • Brand marketing support (in-store imagery, window graphics, etc)

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • A. Degree in Marketing
  • 5+ years Retail Marketing Experience
  • Relationship management between marketing, sales and key accounts
  • Project Management experience
  • Ability to develop, plan and implement budgets
  • Ability to develop, plan and implement promotions for retail
  • Ability to develop POS material for retail
  • Microsoft office suite
