GENERAL FUNCTION 

The Marketing Specialist provides overall support to the Marketing team, support photo shoots; maintaining promotional materials inventory; overall responsibility for marketing budget; planning meetings and trade shows; maintaining databases; preparing reports and provide overall support to the marketing department.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Work with manager and team to determine macro budget and manage all expenses to that budget
  • Monitors budgets by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
  • Preparing and submitting invoices and SOWs for approval
  • Plans marketing meetings and events by identifying, assembling, and coordinating requirements; establishing contacts; developing schedules and assignments; coordinating communication
  • Assists marketing managers with development and implementation of content creation, advertising campaigns, tracking sales data against organizational objectives and maintaining promotional materials inventory
  • Cross collaboration throughout organization to gain alignment on execution calendars (ie. Manufacturing timelines, product development cycles, sales windows, asset development for commercialization)
  • Helps manage the creation of the seasonal catalogs (printed and digital) and all selling tools. Included are budget and project management with key stakeholders
  • Partnership management: facilitate requests from various partnerships such as endorsed athletes, various sponsorships, PR agency, outside vendors, etc.
  • Supports staff through providing relevant data such as market trends, sales performance and customer requirements
  • Assist with presentation development; house database of presentation materials for future use

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS 

  • 2+ years of experience in similar position
  • Associate’s Degree
  • Detail and process oriented
  • Operations and/or logistics experience
  • Strong organizational and communications skills and sense of urgency
  • High level of Excel and PowerPoint competency
  • Basic SAP knowledge preferred
  • Detail and process oriented
