GENERAL FUNCTION

The Manager- HRBP (East Coast) will be responsible for managing the execution of all HR services for Luxury House Brands’ in the East Coast territories with a focus in the city of Manhattan, including but not limited to, training, succession planning, performance management, recruiting, workforce effectiveness and individual development planning.  The incumbent will support both corporate and field level associates and managers on HR-related matters, ensure that HR programs and plans are aligned to business priorities and will monitor effectiveness through the tracking of key measures.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with the brand/business unit HR team to identify and develop the HR plans (strategies, objectives, initiatives) to support the business strategy. Act as an advocate for associates creating and fostering a best in class work environment.
  • Serve as a liaison with other HR teams such as Talent management, Talent Acquisition, and HR Systems/Operations to coordinate the development and execution of programs, systems, and processes to be used by the brand/business unit to support the business.
  • Act as an operational and strategic consultant for Luxury House Brand’s executive retail team based in the West Hollywood office.
  • Analyze all KPIs and metric reporting in order to drive strategy and implement business initiates
  • Provide guidance to managers and associates for HR related and the performance management process. Ensures compliance regarding Company policy and federal/state employment law, partnering with COE team, when applicable, in order to eliminate risk and potential Company liability.
  • Work closely with the Training teams to create, implement, and facilitate strategic and consistent trainings among all brands.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition with a strong focus on acquiring and retaining top talent and on building a pipeline for future needs.
  • Partner with Total Rewards to communicate and implement programs related to Compensation & Benefits to ensure compliance and to meet the needs of the business.
  • Facilitate the new associate onboarding process in partnership with hiring managers.
  • Partner with HR Operations and Benefits with a strong sense of urgency on issues related to associate’s pay, benefits, and short/long term disability.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4 year degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 5+ years of HR experience, Generalist HR knowledge
  • Strong project Management and process improvement skills
  • Demonstrate innovative thinking to problem solving and customer service
  • Ability to provide fair and empathetic guidance and consultation through active listening and proper analysis of all situations
  • Strong communication skills

  • Strategic thinking skills and fast learners desired. Fosters and promotes a cohesive team.
  • Exemplifies the brand’s vision, mission and values; celebrates wins; leads by example.
  • Adept at handling multiple complex projects simultaneously under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Able to travel 50% of the time, sometimes with limited notice
  • In-store retail experience a plus
  • Be a learner; continuously develop oneself using internal and external resources.
