Role: Senior Corporate Communications Manager, EssilorLuxottica ANZ

 

Lead and execute the internal and external corporate communications strategy across the EssilorLuxottica business in ANZ, with elements of broader organisation-wide communications. Oversee the communication framework and work closely with the leadership team to deliver business outcomes through informative, engaging and relevant communications and events.

Key stakeholder are business heads and Human Resources.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the successful implementation and delivery of a number of strategic initiatives through a tailored communications plan under the direction of the APAC Public Relations and ANZ+ Japan Communication Director and/or Leadership team.
  • Lead the continuous improvement of internal communications channels, including delivering a fresh and consistent internal visual identity (in alignment with Corporate Comm team)
  • Build the strategy for proactively aligning internal audiences around the business strategy, company values, and priorities and drive the communications and engagement programs
  • Drive the effectiveness of company-wide communications strategies through channels, content and events.
  • Plan and execute internal corporate events like EssilorLuxottica stand ups/town hall meetings
  • Coordinates media relations around EL more institutional topics
  • Implements major internal initiatives from agenda preparation and content creation such as announcements, presentations, videos and other formats.
  • Advises the Leadership team and other functional leaders on the most appropriate internal and external communications strategies and approaches for each scenarios, including sensitive topics.
  • Prepare, review, edit and approve content for internal announcements, reorganisation communications, internal events, and other sensitive topics.
  • Maintains a consistent voice across all communications, written and verbal, and across company leadership. Responds to feedback from staff and adjusts communications content accordingly.
  • Partners with global communications team and HR on any group-wide communication messages.

 

Your Background:

  • 6-8 years' experience in communications and supporting senior leadership, ideally in a retail and/or fastmoving setting
  • Successfully developed and executed employee communications strategy, with a focus on communicating in an office setting
  • A strong understanding of strategic communications and experience supporting organisational and HR change announcements affecting the wider business
  • Led change communication strategy from development to implementation end to end.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills and a capability to simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines
  • Excellent stakeholder management with senior leadership, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • The energy and interest to support a broad range of matters in a busy team & a fast-paced large organisation
  • Previously worked in a large business with a diverse employee audience and experience working with multi-stakeholders across ANZ preferably and overseas occasionally.
