Partner with the Eyecare Operations team to lead the Optometry Employee Lifecycle for New Zealand and support EssilorLuxottica in achieving its commercial objectives. Main responsibilities and measurements: Accountability Key Performance Indicators Relationships • Maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders including universities, professional and government bodies, ophthalmologists and EssilorLuxottica suppliers. • Partner and collaborate with universities for preceptorships, recruitment, and influence optometry curriculum. • Partner with external organisations to drive eyecare partnerships for OPSM and support growth opportunities across EssilorLuxottica Representation • Spokesperson for eyecare in New Zealand. This includes representing EssilorLuxottica at the highest level in PR, marketing, and other media related opportunities. • Active involvement in professional optometry organisations Recruitment • End to end management of optometry recruitment in alignment with the eyecare operations strategy. • Work collaboratively with the Eyecare Engagement Manager to help recruit and retain best talent in market across all roles. This includes cadets, graduates, early career, experienced optometrists and high performing talent from external optical brands. • Work collaboratively with Eyecare Operations team to build our national relief team and fill critical vacancies across ANZ. • Identifies and analyses significant competitors, remains current in understanding their offerings, strategies and differentiating characteristics. • Collaborate with the HR team to effectively execute the people strategies in line with business and eyecare operations requirements. Engagement • Support growth and further employee engagement opportunities across EssilorLuxottica. • Build a positive EssilorLuxottica eyecare culture within broader team including franchise network • Retention/attrition optometry for country • Improvement in optometry pulse survey results for country • Implement and deliver eyecare engagement projects to help drive optometry engagement and maximise retention. Luxottica Position Description Page 2 of 2 • Manage eyecare communications cross functionally to ensure the highest level of understanding and best practice. • Delivers organisational messages clearly and consistently. Development • Identify, develop, reward and build a high potential talent matrix and succession plan for all optometry positions. • Engagement and delivery of CPD content via Leonardo LMS to ensure our optometrists have the highest level of knowledge and awareness Planning • Develops a plan for executing eyecare operations priorities for country and understands key drivers for success. • Reviews plan on a regular basis to ensure delivery of eyecare operations objectives. Projects • Participation and delivery of Eyecare projects in line with Eyecare Operations plan. • Lead change by implementing strategies that engages relevant stakeholders and ensures commitment to change. Governance • Compliance with internal standards and external legislative requirements Work Health & Safety Responsibility • Ensure compliance with all responsibilities as per Luxottica’s work health and safety (WHS) policies and procedures, as well as relevant work health and safety, and rehabilitation legislation. Supporting growth and further employee engagement opportunities across EssilorLuxottica Recruiting and retaining optometrists in a highly competitive marketing.
