Your Opportunity

As the Talent Aquisition Specialist based in Auckland, supporting the North and South Isalnd regions, you will manage business partnerships with our Hiring Managers to fill our retail network vacancies with the best talent into the right roles at the right time. 


Requirements for Success

You bring several years high volume recruitment experience gained within an internal recruitment role and ideally started your recruitment career in agency land. Hopefully you have had a chance to play in the social media space, Facebook / LinkedIn and beyond or at least have a thirst as to what is possible. A prior background in retail or the consumer high volume industry would be an advantage.

We want a strong, independant recruiter, super customer focused who can work at pace, deal with the ambiguity of a shifting retail environment, own initiatives and relationships and most important who likes to have a laugh and some fun along the way.  Career options are real so if you are keen to make a difference in our business, you can.   • Partner with Hiring Managers to deliver 100% end-to-end recruitment process to Hiring Managers 
  • Develop Strong relationships with HR Business Partners, TA team and other HR colleagues including Remuneration & Benefits, Communications, Learning & Development
  • Coach Hiring Managers on effective recruitment practices
  • Recommend recruitment strategies on all roles to Hiring Managers & HRPB’s
  • Develop NEW sourcing strategies that reduce reliance on traditional external advertising channels (Seek, Local press adverts)
  • Use Alternative Sourcing methods to attract suitable candidates eg Social Media, Industry Bodies, Schools, Universities
  • Ensure database is managed effectively, information is maintained and up to date and regular reports are produced
  • Deliver on specific Talent Acquisition projects, or adhoc broader HR projects that impact the Talent Acquisition team
  • Challenge the status quo through questioning current recruitment methods / trends and delivery of new programs that evolve the Talent Acquisition function
  • Attend Talent Acquisition Industry events where appropriate to upskill knowledge of future trends
  • Proactive participation in Talent Acquisition / HR team events & meetings
