GENERAL FUNCTION

The Commissions & Discounts Coordinator is responsible for determining and generating commission payments for Independent Sales Representatives, responsible for transmitting payroll via ADP, administers customer discounts and rebates including generating mass mailings, and processing rebate credits.

 

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Calculates monthly commission/incentive award payments based on sales data and plan provisions.
    • Compiles and sorts sales force commission reports
    • Posts sales, commissions, miscellaneous rep charges, draw amounts and manual adjustments into ICM system
    • Confirms that all adjustments are accurately reflected on final commission statements
  • Emails sales force commission statements and associated reports (including pay vouchers and miscellaneous rep invoices) to sales representatives; sends copies to regional managers.
  • Transmits draw amounts (weekly) and commission amounts (monthly) via ADP.
  • Updates sales force information sheets and sets up new sales consultants.
  • Administers customer discounts and rebates including generating mass mailings, making periodic calls to customers and processing credits.
  • Issues and records numbers to “Common Ownership” letters: mails letters to customers and sends out renewal contracts yearly.
  • Investigates and resolves issues and problems relating to commission payments, discounts and/or rebates; issues that cannot be resolved at this level are escalated to the Manager for action and resolution.
  • Promptly addresses and resolves incoming calls from sales representatives/customers, outside vendors; forwards inquiries on to appropriate department when necessary.
  • Interacts with customer relations and sales administration staff to answer questions regarding discount/rebate programs and procedures.
  • Maintains accurate, complete and up-to-date files/records.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Good communication/phone skills, accuracy, ability to manage and prioritize projects, organizational skills, good interpersonal skills.
  • Strong PC skills, including Excel, Word, Power Point.
  • Effective communication Skills, both verbal and written
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to change

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • SAP Experience
  • Associates degree preferred
