GENERAL FUNCTION

The Systems Analyst runs STARS (state of the art sales support business model that Luxottica runs over select accounts) data flow and all IT related points or issues that could be faced within the STARS business.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates STARS client activation/set-up.
  • Sets-up STARS with JDA including sharing formal requirements, proposing solutions from a menu of available options.
  • Tests transaction files.
  • Liaises with IT and keeps track of all activities (highlight priorities to IT, remove roadblocks, etc.).
  • Keeps track of S&Op activities (highlights priorities to S&Op, removes roadblocks, etc.).
  • Maintains active clients.
  • Conducts periodic reviews of data feed quality on agreed upon KPI’s.
  • Manages and investigates errors.
  • Shares evidence with STARS planner.
  • Conducts interventions as needed.
  • Coordinates partnership projects with external provider/system integrators.
  • Project management of special strategic initiatives, covering activities such as assortment management on Oracle, reporting and business review preparation.
  • Handles issues and activities with external provider/ system integrators.
  • Travels across the country, to support local customers and share direct knowledge of all the critical business dynamics.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Informatics or Engineering
  • 2+ years of previous experience
  • Excellent ability to identify business issues and solve them autonomously
  • Superior analytical and project management skills
  • Ability to cut through complexity
  • Sound interpersonal and communication skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree
  • Knowledge of SAP and JDA
